configure Linksys PAP2 with Google voice

Please follow below step 

1) sign up and pay one time fee 5.9 $.

2) Change display name    as  GV1+your google voice number

3) change proxy server as  gvgw.simonics.come 

4) change your DNS setting as below

5) after save changes make sure  your Registration State show online

6)Manual of voice commands for ip adress to type on the browser .dial **** 4 times then 110# will heard 192.168.1.100 this an example mine is 192.168.1.117 or 122 depends 

then you have access to the configuration menu in the screen .

Can I just buy any old Linksys PAP2-NA and follow the steps above to get it to work, or would I have to unlock or do something else to it?
Excellent! Thank you! Mine worked perfectly without the need to do the "optimal configuration setup", no outbound proxy, and no auth ID needed. Why did you need to fill that up? Thank you

You are  not taking advantage of DNS_SRV records

I found these instructions very helpful, thank you.  I use an ancient Sipura, which is essentially the same.  (You can use these of the PAP2, just don't buy a locked one)  However, incoming calls would not ring.  I also added:

nat mapping enable: no => yes
nat keep alive enable: no => yes

Unfortunately, that did not work either, but feel free to try it.  On my firewall, I was forced to add a forward rule for port 5060 on the Sipura which appears to be working well.  Hopefully, this is helpful to someone. 

I do have  lock pep2 any one know how to unlock
